Not spending big money on clothes is a habit I have gotten into and it's not necessarily a good habit... it's been talked about here before - that thing where you would rather spend x amount and come home with bags of stuff you don't wear much because they're poor quality and don't fit well than one decent quality item. It's a mindset I'm trying to get out of.
Yesterday I saw this blazer on sale. On a scale of "el cheapo" to "label" this falls somewhere in the middle. On sale it was still a little more than I feel comfortable spending but realistically, a good price!
I've wanted a blazer for ages. In fact I bought one a few months ago from an "el cheapo" store and although I wore it for the occasion I bought it for, I only wore it then because it fits badly, it doesn't feel great and in hindsight it looks cheap.
I have already halved the cost per wear in 24 hours for the more expensive purchase and it won't be long before the the cost per wear will be less than the once off wear of the cheapie blazer.
Lesson learned.
So does this work?
