I was on vacation in Quebec Oct 10-17 and got almost no outfit photos, although I was very pleased with my cold-weather travel capsule. Then I was home for a week and managed to take but not post outfit pics. Then last week Gentleman Friend and I did a "staycation" in the fanciest suite at a fancy hotel here in town for his birthday (he won the room and several lovely dinners at a charity silent auction in September and we had a blast!) and again, almost no outfit photos. But here is what I have.
Most of these are repeats, but there are a few new pieces.
1. Very warm day Oct 8, last work day before vacation. These are all oldies but goodies -- I swear this may be my very favorite work outfit.
2-4. Vacation: Me with the sales guys at Danier Leather, from whom I bought THREE fab leather jackets, wearing my beloved LL Bean striped top and Target olive vest and new Halogen jeans, which you can't see. Next up is trying poutine (yum!) in new Eileen Fisher sweater, Missoni for Target scarf, Ann Taylor black turtleneck. Last one is bicycling in the cold and rain and having a blast! Note the fab new sneakers, which I bought in Quebec City, and new plaid Kut from the Kloth leggings, which were so cozy and perfect for cycling.
5. Wore this to an afternoon symphony performance the day we got back. Banana Republic pants, Target vest, Old Navy top, Ann Taylor pumps (which I saved by using Angie's tip of using a Sharpie on the scuffed toes).
6. Wore this to a birthday party. Sweater from NAS, teal leather jacket from Danier, Banana Republic pants courtesy of Suz, BP booties, Target bag.
7-9. Various work outfits you've seen a hundred times. The long black jacket in #8 is Trouve and new this year.
10-11. A couple from the "staycation." The dress and jacket in #10 are new this year, as is the blouse in 11.
12. Which brings us to today. We finally had a little cooler weather so I could bust out my wool pencil skirt along with last year's AT Loft blouse, which I bought at Seattle Shoptember Ingefest.
