Thanks Jenni. The belt is cream and black, and the coat is guava/camel - its a hard colour to pin down!!
Thanks kkards - the green is a cord blazer - unlined. I am finding it really useful - it is a touch brighter than the find shows.
Thanks Lise - the travel photo was taken at 545am haha so if my hair looked good that was very lucky!! A smart coat can elevate simple looks - I was missing one for a few years.
Angie - thank you! I was pleased to have options and I managed to even fit in a bit extra on the way home (one gift, one bottle of wine and two clothing purchases).
Laurie - Melbourne is a great city. We lived there for two years and have a son living there now. It is not as beautiful as Sydney, but it has a great vibe and awesome energy.
Thanks Roberta, Slimcat and JAileen. The zebra belt was such a good purchase - I love it!!
Suz - we did a 30km Capital City Trail loop. It was mostly great riding (easy - Melbourne is quite flat) and a mix of city, residential, industrial and river trail. As with all bike trails they are well sign posted until they aren't if you know what I mean - as in we did have to pause and turn back a couple of times.
I was pleased I threw in the hoodie at the last minute. I wore that biking and walking twice, and lounging on the first night before I did sport in it.
Fashion observations about Melbourne - long trench coats (not cropped) relatively oversized, every sort of jean - wide leg, barrel, straight, skinny, cropped and full length. Lots of boots, sneakers and a few refined flats. And heeled boots.
Mostly neutrals - the main bright colour I saw was orange...and funnily enough my two purchases were from Uniqlo - a white airism tee and an orange JW Anderson pullover. I LOVE orange and it hasn't been around for a few years.
