yesterday: October 22nd- Tuesday was the day of Karva Chauth.

This is a day of fasting and feasting- North Indian women traditionally observe this fast to honor their husbands and their marital lives.

Our hostess had asked us all to dress like brides. Serendipitously in line with Angie's post today my sari was pink and purple!

We both had henna on our hands.
Mr Sona was wearing pastel blues and beiges.

P.S: my nose is not pierced IRL. but a stick on did the trick!
