Here are my outfits for my final two days in DC.

1/2: blazer and skirt - on this day I had to give a short talk at my conference, so I wanted to look a little more professional but not business-y. Dinner with my sister in the evening, and it was very hot so I removed the jacket. The blazer and skirt are both knits.
Nic+Zoe knit blazer, BR top, H&M skirt, Taryn Rose sandals

3/4: navy sack dress with new neon pink belt from Zara. It was approximately one million degrees in DC and Boston today so I was glad I brought my go-to summer cotton sack dress which is very light. The belt is a purchase from the DC YLF meetup on Sunday - I wanted something neon! Swapped the sandals out halfway through the day for the black ones in the previous picture because the yellow ones were actually making my feet too sweaty/sticky in this awful heat. Also wore the turquoise blazer in the freezing hotel and plane but didn't get a photo.
H&M dress, Zara belt, Fly London shoes

5: I didn't plan on a capsule wardrobe for this trip since it was only 4 days (so I just picked 4 outfits) and only repeated shoes, jackets, and handbag. However, looking at my four outfits side by side, apparently I inadvertently created a capsule consisting of blues/teals with dark neutrals. This may say something about the color diversity of my summer wardrobe....
