WIW. I'm blue (edit with option 2)

This is my first WIW in a while. This is what I'm wearing to church. As always, I'm up for suggestions! Would you go with charcoal tights or nude instead of the blue? I definitely think I need to invest in some belts.

This blue is a great colour on you. You are right a waist cinching belt in a contrasting colour and keep the matching blue tights.

The skirt is so wonderfully vibrant that a nude tight might help to break up the "blueness". I agree that a belt would be a nice addition as well. It's a beautifully crisp look.

I like that a lot! It doesn't look like too much blue to me, and I think the scarf pulls your eye up towards your face more than the necklace did. I actually noticed your awesome haircut right away with this second look.

Oh, wow. An amazing improvement. #1 wasn't awful, certainly, but #2 is so cute! Your face really lights up in that color.

#1 looks kind of modern, in a good way. But I think I prefer #2, Angie says nude tights/pantyhose are in again.

I love the blue skirt, and I favor #2. I like the balance of dark/light with the nude leg and forearm lightening the look. Of course, I hope you weren't cold!

Beth Ann, no, not cold. I was roasting through the first 2 hours wrestling my 15-month-old. I do have a hard time transitioning through seasons; and it probably doesn't help that it'll be 70 degrees one day and 40 the next here in the Fall. A pair of boots is next on my list to buy, though.

I like #2 better. It seems like in #1, there is too much of a good thing. In #2, the blue still stands out but isn't overwhelming. It's kind of like chocolate chips in a chocolate chip cookie--you want a nice amount of chips, but too many and the overall balance of flavors is lost. (I'm sure that some posters are going to completely disagree that one can have too many chocolate chips in a cookie, hee hee.)
