I'm not sure exactly when this came up, but someone's thread recently tackled the topic of the allegedly dreaded "boca sandal." I say allegedly because:
A) I had never heard of the term until someone kindly linked to it and defined it as a white sandal with a low, square heel
AND
B) I, uh, might own a pair?

I've loved the sandals I'm wearing in this picture for ages. My feet are ridiculous, and I won't bore you with all the reasons why, but these babies fit fabulously and seem to work well with my style for years now. In fact I liked them so much that I bought a pair in taupe patent snake. But when I put the white ones on today in a bid to add a dash of summer brightness to this orange blouse/blue pencil skirt/gold accessories combo, I found myself wondering. Are these bocas? And if so, do they wreck the whole look?
