WIW... I think I may love scarves!

Hello! I am back after a week or so of being rather quiet! I took a week off from my usual routine to attend a doula course and it became somewhat all consuming!

Anyways - here I am - back with a little WIW.

I found this scarf yesterday at a discount shop (I saw one similar that I fell in love with at a boutique for about three times the price a few weeks ago and couldn't bring myself to pay that sort of money for a scarf)

No full length shots - sorry - I forgot to take one as I left the house...I paired the scarf with my black maxi dress (you've all seen that before), black ballet pumps and a denim jacket for the morning chill. Easy, comfy and I felt ever so chic with the addition of the scarf.

The scarf looks really cute on you and the outfit sounds great.

I'm a real scarf convert (have only been wearing them for the past 6 years or so) and find they can really put a spin on an outfit - while keeping you warm of course!

And they love you right back!-) This is a great one, looks fab with your complexion and I like the gauzy fabric. I agree that just by adding a scarf, an outfit can get a whole different feel. From one scarf fan to another: you'll see fab ones popping up everywhere, and it's hard to restrain yourself from buying "just one more";-)

I always loved scarfs, I don't like this scull one thought,not big fan of sculls on clothes.

Its funny how perceptions change - scarves used to be old lady territory for me - I couldn't possibly envision how to wear them, but now I love the idea. I only have two and I am eager to add more to my collection.

This looks very pretty on you, Hil. And yes, scarves seem to come into and go out of favour, but they can be extremely useful when they are worn in a current way, as here!

I like the way your scarf highlights and draws attention to your face. They can be a great way to add interest and color to basic outfits! I have about a dozen!

I, too, just recently discovered scarfs. They are really quite a nice fashion accessory and can change the look of any outfit. So fun!

You and me both. I love scarves and can't seem to get enough. They are usually inexpensive and switch up an outfit in nothing flat. This one is beautiful and will be so versatile!

I love them too. As usual I am behind the curves, as I just started wearing them this year. But I love how they can bring color and interest to my usual solids. I even started wearing black again because scarves look dramatic against it.

Of course, I didn't wear them five years ago when they first became trendy! I am always late to the party.
