Ack, so this is taking a lot of courage, but I really want to be more active on this forum with you guys, so here goes. This is what I wore for my partner's holiday party over the weekend. (Apologies for the quality of the full length photo. I was so dead tired after the party that it didn't even occur to me to use my real camera to take a full length photo before I went to bed.)

Outfit: Thrifted blazer, black v-neck tee, black jackson fit pants from BR, Nina clutch, Nine West pumps, and a necklace from Nordies.

The clutch looks a lot brighter than the shoes in the photo, but they're the same shade of pewter IRL.

I felt like I was pretty spot-on in terms of dressing to the correct level of formality for a tech company holiday party, but I was surprised at how hard it was to compose a suitable outfit that didn't involve a dress or a skirt. I don't care for the way I feel in dresses and skirts and my current wardrobe contains none. As much as this has improved my relationship with my wardrobe, at times it makes things challenging.

I'm slowly transitioning my wardrobe to greyscale monochrome, but this blazer is going to be hard to give up! The tailor did a fantastic job of fitting it to me and I love how comfortable and confident I feel in it.
