Lots of holiday inspired luncheons at work (since we no longer have a big company party) Here's what I've come up with so far.
1. Casual Friday and Holiday party I decided NOT to wear the traditional Red: Winter white jeans (LL Bean), turtleneck (Gap), Jacket with gold flecks (Bobeau), Bronze belt (Calvin Klein) and Bronze booties (9 West), Blingy necklace (Banana Republic)
2. Felt pretty 80's but fun. Zippers! Foxcroft polkadot blouse, Kenneth Cole slouchy trousers with zipper pockets, Vince Camuto High Low sweater (with zipper back), manta ray platinum belt (Michael Kors), Doc Martens Danielle silver print (many comments on these)
3. I intended to wear my new J Crew striped turtleneck over my LL Bean plaid shirt, but couldn't get it right. I swapped for a Talbot's velvet blazer, Esprit jeans, Calvin metallic belt, B.O.C. booties (gingerbread man earrings)
4. For the Family Christmas card photo (added an Esprit red polkadot scarf outside) I went with a Sundance inspired outdoorsy look: YLF Gap sweater, jeans (Vigoss), Duck boots (Sorel) We lucked out on weather but had to overpay for shipping due to chronic procrastination (7 is actually an outtake, but I liked it)
5 and 6 Took the kids to their first Nutcracker ballet (local production) and I dressed up (they didn't, hence my attempt to tame it down a bit) LL Bean turtleneck sweater, Exclusively Misook lace skirt, Banana Republic blingy necklace, Franco Sarto boots, added Calvin Klein Leopard coat (crazy cat lady coat, but it's SOoooo soft and warm)

I have a few more occasions this week so I'm thinking of upping the game to include sequins at work. Look out!
Ho ho ho!
