I'm trying to wear more of my non-work clothes lately, instead of my same default looks. I just got this purple velvet tank (I'm a sucker for jewel tones), so that was my start. My instinct was jeans, as always, but then remembered I had these knit patterned pants. Both patterns are slightly herringbone - too much? It is warm, but a bit windy, so I added a black knit cardigan. I was struggling with shoes, but the ankle length of the pants seems to only work with flats on me. Now I'm wondering if the whole thing is too dark or just too disjointed? I don't think I'm seeing it clearly.
I went for a bit of shopping, to enjoy my one day off this week. Tried on a sweater dress to wear with leggings to work this fall (dress code is black/white only), and I bought a fun t for my rocker side :). There is a chunky sensor near my hip on the dress, so looks a bit odd. I did purchase the dress, but returning is still an option.
Thanks for looking and any sage words!
