So, I know it’s been brutally hot I’m my of the northern hemisphere, but on my small part of the world this week was really our 1st taste of consecutive hot hot days. That being said, even when it’s super hot, as you’ll see from my outfits, if I’m going to be out and about, I prefer long sleeves. For some reason I feel better with my arms covered, but I do wear supper lightweight tops…and in this kind of weather I lean into wovens.

#1 the start..only 83F/28C but humid…these look like jeans, but they are a cotton/linen blend and super lightweight. The top doesn’t photograph well, but it’s a mixed medium woven/knit mix. And I loved the way the belt and the shoes tied together with both the color and the perforation.

#2 90F/32C the start…I realized this morning that I actually have a shirt that has all the colors and it matches my sneakers perfectly! This shirt is so lightweight it was like wearing nothing at all. Underneath I have a Uniqlo tank with a built in bra, comfortable for the hot weather and adds just enough that I feel comfortable wearing this to work . And even though the sneakers and the shirt match, I don’t love them with these pants…next time I’ll wear them with the pants from #1

#3 92F/33C with a a feels like of 95F….this shirt is an old Gap item, it’s one of those things that you stop and say, wait, that’s the Gap? It’s a silk, yes silk, cotton blend. And again is super light weight and just floats away from your body. (Bonus shot of my trying the one side tuck, I couldn’t pull it off, so this was for the photo only)

#4 92F/33C again but with a feels like of 100F/37c. But since it’s work from home and I can control the temperature, and I could always change if I wanted, I went for a short sleeve.

Anyone else prefer long sleeve’s even when it’s super hot out?

Sorry to have rambled on..
thanks for looking. As always all comments and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated
