Well, life is back in full swing and can I tell you - I have MISSED dressing up! And, funnily enough, I am no longer drawn to sophisticated neutrals, but to earth tones and pastels (inspired by my fall walks.) . Thrifting has given me the ability to experiment and be a little daring, and I am running with it. Now my office days are filled with outfits that are joyful and make me smile

People Tweed suit: J crew retail, last year (Angie find - I love it!!)

Nightingale shirt: J crew x Mason - Poshmark

Black cashmere sweater and gold skirt - Alberta Ferreti (thrifted)

Tweed blazer - Donna Karan, thrifted

Purple Cardigan - repeat (thrifted)

Skirts: vintage, thrifted (including the black leather one I wore for Halloween!)

Your outfits are so current and modern and professional when needed, but always with a touch of artistry and fun. Your smile is your best accessory! And you are right on trend with Sal's post about purple, which you wear just beautifully!

So great to see your smile and your fabulous outfits! I love that suit and still (a little bit) regret not buying it myself. Also love the blouse with it and pattern mixed with the tweed! Brilliant. And what a gorgeous burgundy ensemble.

I love all these outfits, but for some reason I'm especially drawn to that burgundy look in #8. I am not usually a column of color gal, but you're making me rethink my stance.

Your looking wonderful, both super stylish and happy! All the outfits are amazing, but I especially like the purple tweed suit and the one with the gold skirt. I bought the same purple blazer, but did not dare even try the matching pants.

You look sooo good in everything -- and you really do look like you're enjoying it! To me, that's joyfulness is the secret sauce that makes an outfit special I absolutely love the pattern mix in #7.

I really need to learn your thrifting ways -- or at least attempt a pale imitation next time I make it to Toronto! (I can't quite imaging having similar success her on the prairies.)

Well thank you so much everyone! Honestly I have so missed this community and the friendship and inspiration of you all. I'm so glad you approve - especially because I know these looks are not for everyone. I think that, through the pandemic, I realized that I wanted to be more 'myself' - unapologetic, dressing for enjoyment and my own pleasure. And I'm really having fun with that right now! And I'm getting inspiration from all of you and Angie's outfit posts, too. I'm finding it's all about the little pleasures in life right now, like dressing up.

I’m totally agreeing with your statement ‘it’s all about the little pleasures in life right now, like dressing up’. Good on you too for being unapologetic about dressing for you in your way and style. That’s the creativity and fun that I love too (particularly when incorporating or dressing with thrifted items).

Love your outfits! You and I have a similar style... my uniform is bootcut jeans, blouse or T-shirt, jacket, scarf and my boots. I could live in this combo all year long if the weather allowed for it. Love your modern-y house, too!

Roxanna, your looks are so beautiful! The colors and materials are rich and understated in their luxury - I feel like it perfectly showcases you, in look and in spirit!

I’m also feeling a kindred-spirit-excitement at your secondhand shopping skills. There’s always this satisfying aspect of “the- lioness-dragging-her-unique-kill-back-to-her-lair” excitement to finding cool stuff secondhand, that I just don’t get from regular retail. I’m feeling it vicariously through that Ferretti outfit!

Roxanna, each of your looks make me smile! Happy colors, classy and stylish! Fun and full of life! The Halloween costumes were amazing! Our neighborhood had an outdoor party with a food truck (pizza) and outdoor fire for roasting marshmallows and making S’mores. A couple candy stations for the youngest in the crowd.
