Doing my second version of Angie's hard edge/soft touch ensemble today. This is for going to lab and then out for date night at a nice restaurant.
This version is a bit more refined and dressy than the previous version. I've incorporated a blazer and my dressy booties. Most of the hard edge here comes from the black and white color palette and the sharp lines on the pointy shoes and tailored blazer. The tunic is something I picked up from H&M recently - it is a drapey wrap design with a slightly bubbled hem and reminds me quite a bit of something Allsaints might make. The pattern is an abstract, kind of ink painting looking design that I really like.
