Gosh, Kelly, I'm so sorry to hear about the shingles. I just got my first shot, sneaking them in around the COVID boosters. I hope you feel as good as you look in these pics SOON. Hang in there.
Thanks for all the well wishes! I'm thankful to have a mild case which is mostly on my neck (and my hair covers it most of the time.) Almost two weeks in and I feel a lot better now - the lesions are crusting over and I guess that also means I'm no longer "contagious" although I'm not really sure they're contagious unless you come in contact with the open lesions--eww. I don't want anyone that close--lol. The Dr. said I can get the shingles vaccine once the lesions are gone so I'm putting that on my reminder list for early June! Don't want to go through this again.
Thanks for the reminder! I've been postponing that shingles vaccination as well. I had the original vaccine, but need to update now. Sorry you have had to put up with it.
Glad you are feeling better! I think I'll put the vaccine on my list to do too; thanks for bringing it up. I feel for you with the aging parents; that can have a huge effect on one's life.
Meanwhile, you are looking wonderful in all your spring things. I especially love your dark jumpsuit with the pale distressed jacket, and the red dress outfit.
