I've seen quite a few dresses I liked that have a crocheted layer, but they never seemed to work for me. So I was pretty happy when I found this dress (and a sale makes it a little better). I think I like it better because it's a darker color doesn't looks quite as frilly to me. I think this dress should also work as a spring/summer dress because it still feels very light. I'll probably switch to a lighter colored cardigan as it is closer to summer.

I think a pair of strappy or gladiator sandals would work as well. What do you think? Or if you have another idea, I'd love to hear it.
