I missed the Halloween photos that were shared in past years so I thought I'd share mine and maybe some of you would share what you wore. There is a nearby town that has a scarecrow festival every October and I wore my tulle skirt for lunch there and added a hat and cape for an evening Halloween party. I'll need ideas for next year so I'd love to see what you came up with.

Bonnie, you look great! Our son’s elementary school always had a scarecrow contest. It was their biggest fundraiser of the year, and was so much fun to attend.

I wore my thrifted skull sweater yet again, and black Columbia hiking pants. I bought the sweater six years ago for $5. My cost per wear is down to about $0.33. We had 60 trick or treaters, maybe more. We used to get lots of teenagers, but had hardly any last night.

What a beautiful outfit, Bonnie! Love it!
I didn’t go anywhere, stayed home and gave up candy to kids. I wore a witch hat (with rhinestones). I showed it to my grandson today and he likes it, too!

Love your outfit as it is not a true costume but rather street style wearable and that is a fab tulle skirt and so rare to find with the pattern(embroidery?). I do envy your cape and hat as these trully make the outfit work on a festival!
My version would be a very similar outfit I had for years made of a plain black tulle midi skirt, chunky black patent boots, a black&Halloween graphic tee and the same black moto or black denim jackets depending on the weather.
Added a pictie which is not really accurate of wiw as I just shot myself in the store when trying on/modelling some tan cowboy boots with the outfit I wore on that day!:-)) I would also wear a black bag on halloween or with this outfit but went especially with the tan tote to see if the boots will match color and they matched so the boots came home with me that day!:-)).

STAR: Most adults here in the States don't either but some of us enjoy a Halloween themed party. Thanks for liking my effort at a costume.

JAILEEN: 60 Trick or Treaters seems like a lot and fun, too. We get 0 because I live in a 55+ community. Love your skull sweater and decorations. I paid $5 for my hat and $5 for my cape but will save it for another year.

LYN67: Thank you and what a great tee. Love your skirt combined with the tee, chunky shoes, and jacket. That could be worn to a Halloween party or just staying home to celebrate the day.

My daughter asked us to come over and hand out candy while she and hubby took our grandchildren out. Here’s a pic of what I wore!

We had an all time low of 18 kids this year. It started raining around 5pm and it was very windy - so I wasn’t surprised. (The usual is between 40 and 60.)

The DS’s attended 2 separate costume events as Dread Pirate Roberts and Inigo Montoya from the ‘Princess Bride’ and DS#2 re-wore his Luigi costume for work. DS #2 sports a beard regularly, but ‘sacrifices’ it for Halloween, then regrows it after Christmas.

MERWOMAN: WOW, that is some scary costume. You would have been in the running for first place in our party's scary costume contest.

RUNCARLA: Your decorations are great and you give out the good candy. Too bad the weather kept the kids away. Love your son's costumes, I think I want to be Luigi next year!

JAIME: I'm glad you are enjoying this thread. I was an elementary teacher for 28 years so got to enjoy Halloween as an adult then. When we moved to a 55+ community in 2018, they had Halloween parties every year. Covid stopped them and this is the first one since then. It's just a fun time for kids and adult and I'm glad they are back.

Bonnie, I love love love your outfit! The skit with the jacket and boots is so good.

We get no trick-or-treaters in my city neighborhood, never have. Some building neighbors are having a baby so maybe in a few years we will!

Beautiful outfit you look great in black. I didn’t dress up but had a witches hat which I wore answering the door to the children who called trick or treating. We put a witch in our porch as children only call to the houses with decorations.
