I wore these grey skinnies out to a casual dinner last night, and then again today to run errands after climbing. You can see here how the booties work with the skinnies - not over them or tucked, but almost like shoes.
1) COH skinnies, Topshop booties, Joie cashmere tunic. Bonus two bags I bought so you can see the sizes on me.
2) Same skinnies and boots, new plaid shirt with contrast lining bought to try to "lighten up". I actually loved wearing this - it's not flannel but a really drapey cotton and fully lined with contrast fabric as you can see from the sleeve.
3) New Guess coat!
