WIW: Grey, black and white

I wore my new grey wool coat today, along with a grey cashmere sweater, black wide leg pants, white booties, and my Scottie scarf.

The coat is J Crew lodge coat. I bought it from Nordstrom, and sized up. It has a quilted lining and the fabric is very nice. I’ve been looking for a grey wool coat for awhile, buying and returning coat after coat. It’s sleeker yet warmer than most coats I’ve tried. I think the color is good with my hair color. I hope you like it! The booties are Naturalizer. They have great arch support. I wore the scarf for Mr Skunky who is having surgery tomorrow.

Janet, you look sooooo great in this. Love the palette on you and the tiny color pop on the scarf. The wide legs look amazing with the boots. I always wear a heel with my wide legs, which makes them impractical for so many situations, but this looks so good I may need to re -think and do some hemming. That coat is a keeper - it is so sleek - and yay that it is warm!! You will need it tomorrow!

We just heard from the vet, and Mr Skunky’s surgery went well. The growth (tumor?) didn’t go very deep, and she thinks she got all of it.

Suntiger, he does have a cone. It’s pretty large because his snout is so long. Here he is yesterday. He’s also wearing a bootie because he’s been licking that paw. He’s OCD, I think.

Cee, Mr Skunky does talk to us. Not in English, of course, but he talks. I can’t describe it, but it’s not barking or yawning. Our Jack Russell doesn’t talk at all.
