WIW: Gray Linen, White Belt, Workhorse Top

Today I decided to forego shorts for my gray linen slouchy pants - waving to Ceit! These are extremely comfortable and though I haven't really worn them much yet - I think I will like them for our hot climate. I think they are much more comfortable and wearable for me than the olive slouchy ones I got earlier this spring. It is supposed to be 100+ again today.

I paired the linen pants with one of two BR tanks that have become real workhorses for me in summer (you can't really see the shadow design of the pattern very well in the photo but there is also a warm gray line outlining all the black lines). I added my white belt which I'm learning to work into my wardrobe finally. The Teva wedge sandals are also extremely comfortable, though maybe not the most stylish- all in all a perfect hot summer outfit for me on a casual work day.

Oh, I almost forgot, the necklace is one of my favorites because it reminds me of my late Dad-in-law. I bought it at the Loft while visiting him in Florida.

Yeah! This looks great. I had mine full-length this morning too, and then rolled them up. I shall have to try them with a tank and my white belt too, it looks lovely.

They are SO comfortable.

Lovely! These soft neutrals are terrific on you and feel cool, which is crucial in your weather. I love the pants on you. They are fantastic.

Do you find it hot to wear the necklace? This is a problem of mine. Often in summer outfits a necklace would really improve the look -- but in the humidity I sometimes can't bear them.

Love it! The pants do look comfy and I llike the fresh white belt and top. Nice print on the top and lovely necklace. You look suitably cool.

Thanks everyone! Suz - I really don't find necklaces to be that hot. Most of the time we have a pretty dry heat here as we're up pretty high on a hill. I don't go for super chunky ones that lay too flat on my skin but something light weight with movement seems to work fine.

Diana- I would highly recommend trying these linens if you like the slouchy khakis. These are SO much softer and more comfortable (to me at least). The fit seems very similar.
