WIW-Graphic Top, Blazer & Trendy Bottoms Ensemble

Hi everybody!
I was surprised to realize that I don't have any graphic tees for this ensemble, although I do have many patterned tops. So I subbed a black+white pattern blouse. Thinking about getting a fun graphic tee! I was going to wear my black blazer but left it at work so I went with a burgundy blazer. At the end of the day I remembered to switch but I liked the burgundy one better anyway.

I am super excited about my first JCrew purchase ever! These wide-leg cropped jeans came this morning. They are high-rise!
I have a very long rise so I better take Angie's "Stock Up On Sartorial Favourites" advice this year while high-rises are still around!

(I tried to semi-tuck the blouse to showcase the rise but it was very flimsy and had trouble staying.)

Emily K - I know what you mean, I have the short-leg issue. I tried on a pair of the super high rise Gap jeans (it surprised the SA that they almost came up to my waist) I wanted them so badly but of course they were way too long and too voluminous to shorten I think.
delurked - I highly recommend trying them!

I just can't imagine what it would be like to have a long waist! LOL. I'd love to see those jeans on you with a more fitted top (like a true tee) so we can really see that waist.
