Thanks for the plaid love—making an effort actually helped boost my mood, I think. Between everything that’s going on in the world (and my area,) work, parents, and my dryer and stove out of service (now repaired,) hasn’t left much bandwidth for style. Oreo sends her appreciation too! (She’s getting her beauty rest right now.)
@Runcarla: Thank you for the boot love. My Docs have served me well as a work and fashion boot!
@Carol: Thank you!
@slimcat: Thanks! I’ve been struggling with my BF Levis—they seem too short with boots and it’s been too cold for bare ankles. The socks and clogs seemed like a slam dunk in my head—glad it worked out IRL!
@SF: Warm by Berlin standards. I suppose I’m spoiled by California weather—it’s 40 and I feel like my limbs are going to freeze off.
@Karie, rachy, minaminu, Helena: Thank you!
@Christina: Lol! Yes, we are plaid twins. I couldn’t resist. That’s a great JC shirt—it even has collar stays. I love it.
@JAileen: Lol? I OD’d on it a couple years ago. It was my Mike Heck phase when my kids were young and said I looked like I worked in a quarry…
@Angie: Thank you! Oreo is such a good sport. She actually really enjoys the aran. I’m not so sure about the rest of her wardrobe…. She’s definitely my best accessory.
@Nemosmom, Star, Dana: Thank you! I highly recommend the JC plaids—the cut of the shirts seem very flattering.
@Sal: Haha. Yes, Oreo steals the show! I don’t mind though. I can definitely see you in plaid!
@Mary Beth: Haha. Thank you! I do love my stomp boots. I’ve never thought of my style looking bombshell but I can definitely live with that!
