My fuschia isn't realy fuschia. For some reason I had thought that Fuschia was more of a yellowed pink, than a blued pink. And I don't think I have any thing that's the blued pink you're all wearing. What I'm trying out is some yellowed pink. (What color is that called?)

And the resulting outfit has felt "off" all day long. I'm not sure why - ideas?

#1-3 My first idea was to redo my outfit from the blogger challenge with the taupe slacks, striped top, black blazer and adding this bright scarf. To me, it made the slacks look dull and sick, so I switched to black skinnies. Then the scarf seemed too bright against the black jacket, so I tried a couple of attempts at toning it down. I went with the red, but I'm not sure I made a good choice....

#4-8 Yesteday I wore those taupe slacks though, and they fit so much better after I expanded the waist a couple of inches. See? I paired it with my batwing top, and for warmth, added the ink jacket (#7) on top of it (I tried out a new-to-me tan jacket too - should I keep it? #6) Eventually I was cold even with those layers, and added a black silk scarf and my hat (#8). Every time I looked in the mirror, I felt really good. So I think it worked. But again, I'm not sure why.

Thanks in advance for your feedback and suggestions for improvement.
