I've said it before, spring and summer is my fashion vacation. Look away, Fashionistas! Admittedly, these are not very creative but I do feel they are appropriate. I do wish I could figure out how to look less like I'm on my way to the PTA--even if I am. LOL! I must be having a fashion mid-life crisis. again.

Set 1: The tan blazer is the thrifted JCrew--it would be perfect if had just a wee bit of spandex. It's 100% cotton and a little on the stiff side--it's also a small and I really should be a medium but I couldn't resist the price. The jade colored dress is from Target--it's my favorite new dress of the season. Totally sold out in my size online. This one must have been a return because I found it in store for $5. I would snap this up in a couple of colors and be done with dress shopping if I could!

Set 2: I tried to copy Claire on the column of denim with the floral cardi. I didn't feel as fab as she looked. Crocheted bolero over the black Patagonia dress. I liked it but felt a little bohemian. I think the brown polka dot dress is going to be demoted to loungewear. I felt rather frumpy in that number. I think the combination of knit over knit is what put me over the edge. I do need at least one item with structure to feel somewhat polished.

Thanks for looking! Comment and criticism welcome!
