Well there must be some serious fashionistas at the school if you feel frumpy in these stylish outfits!
1a) Luv it! Is that dress navy and white or black and white? Styling the dress with the beige and oranges (Waving to shoe twin!) looks FAB!
1b) I think the different directions of the stripes help to not emphasize the shoulders. I believe I remember you saying that whether or not your shoulders were emphasized was not a factor for you. I like this outfit. The pearl bracelet is fun. Maybe a slightly edgier/bolder shoe to balance the boldness of the stripes? (see paper doll 1)
1c) Pretty dress and color on you! Again, I think a change of shoes...nude sandals would also be nice. (pd 2 & 3)
2a) You are probably like me and prefer a structured topper. When I wear cardigans, I like to belt to add that "structure" element to it.
2b) Maybe the shoes are too dainty for this outfit? (How about pd 4?)
2c) This is cute! I guess you are saying that you don't like boho? I'm actually trying to add more boho to my style now that the warmer weather is here. : )
2d-e) I think these are both nice! Even though the cardigan isn't structured in the last pic, the empire waist in the dress adds the tailored/structure element. Doesn't look like a swim cover up to me. (Looks cute with the orange wedges too! pd 5)
