Dear Fabbers,
Here is todays’ casual outfit for running errands and grocery shopping.
It is not anything special, but since Angie’s lovely post about fuchsia for fall, I decided to show it to you.

I am wearing a new large cotton fuchsia scarf. I bought it on a super sale for 2 euros. It is from Fraas. Isn’t it pretty? I am a hopeless scarf hoarder (or a collector- depends on who you ask) I have breached my own temporary scarf shopping prohibition and bought it anyway. I wear it over a black thin linen blouse (really old Bruuns Bazaar) and a pair of white trousers (Gardeur). I added fuchsia sneakers (Puma) and fuchsia lipstick Lancôme). A large white bag from Laurel. Pearl earrings and rimless prescription glasses.

This outfit felt nice. Very much “me” in a casual way. What do you think?

Beautiful! The lipstick caught my eye - it works beautifully with the scarf. I like the sneakers with this too. As long as you are conscious shopper of scarves there is no reason to pass up a beauty like this.

You are not a hoarder, you are a collector. I had to look up a euro, and found it is currently worth $1.13. Wow - that is less than we charge for used scarves at the thrift store where I volunteer. You certainly needed a fuchsia scarf. It’s a cheerful outfit and you look great. Is it already cool there?

JAileen, that is right, it was actually cheaper than a thrift shop prices. I think it was like 90 % price reduction. The weather here is relatively cool, yesterday about 20 degrees Celsius. Still summer, but possible to wear thin long sleeves and thin scarves. I am not a hot summer person, this is pleasant for me.

Thanks for all the encouragement re scarf purchases. A collector sounds better than a hoarder, Lol. Yes, one can actually have too many scarves, I certainly do, but I am ok with it. I try not to buy very similar ones that would compete for wears, though. I decided in the spring I will take a break from scarves shopping for a while, but sometimes, when the right one comes along, I go for it anyway. Rules are to be broken

A hopeless scarf hoarder here, too!:-) Love prints and colors in a scarf much better than any other clothing item! You did so great matching fuchsia sneakers with this one...wow, I'm impressed!:-)
