Did not manage a full WIW from the NYC outing, but oh well.
1. Last evening in NYC at my fab SIL's place. Calvin sequin tee, Gap ponte academy jacket, SFAMK josefina black BFs, Me Too flat with silver toe caps
2. Out to Central Park in Stripe tee, Kenneth Cole slouchy black pants, B.O.C. newly dyed metallic oxfords, DVF scarf, Calvin Puffer (sorry phone photo is teeny tiny for some reason)
3 (and 4). Back home and work - Caslon pants, gold belt, Super fun bird print blouse by Daniel Rain, ancient BR jacket (part of suit, discovered lined sleeves have very thin red and navy stripe. DH tends to think whenever I wear my favorite palette of Red White and Navy I look like I work at an airline. Oh well, this was a happy outfit for me regardless. And I cut off my feet, but they are the same navy pumps from 5
5. Embracing the garden for 1st day of Spring: Navy shell and pants BR, gold belt, Kate Spade pendant, HInge Floral blazer, Nine west pumps
6. De bombshelling the minidress: Suzi Chinn dress, Calvin Belt, J Crew cardi, NUDE HOSE!, Kenneth Cole boots. I think this dress is officially too short for me as I felt quite exposed at work. I think I would have preferred black tights (but I seem to have run out) or perhaps some fab white go go boots with this.
7. Casual Preppy fun: J Crew Liberty shirt (Diana made me do it and I LOVE it), Gap stripe sweater, Esprit jeans and belt, B.O.C shooties
8. Whiteout almost: Lace tee AT, Jeans LL Bean signature, belt and cardi Calvin, SE Petty boots. I added bracelets with my lately unworn Skagen watch after reading the Link love for the week. Used the Angie trick for these ankle pants with booties to fake longer length. It was just a casual day so I toned it down with the drapey cardi rather than something more structured.
Always interested in feedback on how to combine better or tweak looks. ALso must confess my feet were in total pain today after wearing the Petty's. Everyone else seems to find these immensely comfortable but I've only worn them a couple of times and have not had the same outcome.
