W.I.W Friday NOLA...in Pictures

How fun and laid back and energetic is NOLA. I have not enjoyed mysel f this much ever. I recommend a trip to everyone who can make it. I'm just going to let the Pictures speek for themselves. Today was so full and once again my caspule was the hero. I went from day to evening this city and people are amazing!

Once again SM and McDonald's but her smile says it all. Late in the evening after a ghost tour and good jazz I got to experience the real NOLA and it's food.

Once again thank you for reading and or looking and commenting. Remember we only have this life make it the best one.

LeDonna...the only problem with this post is that I am not with you...I so love the air and the feel and the food and the just being of this old river city...The Vieux Carre is still one of my favorite places in the world especially at first light...I love your pictures and can't wait to hear more of your trip...

@ alaskagirl I did not know they had a mix oh my goodness. 8 woyl never be v able to walk away b from the table.

@crutcher I am on an early walk this morning in reflection oh how good this world can be. I love the early morning. I will post more pictures on off topic when I return home. i did not want to clog up the main with them. But I just love getting the feel of a city with pictures if I can't be there.

I am LOVING all your photos so please post more! (Loved yesterday's too!) I really feel like I am there. You do such a good job of capturing the feel of the city and I love all the little details. I might have the opportunity to go in the fall, and now I am even more determined to try to make it happen.

You and SM both look great and so happy. I love your outfit. The color and textures and shapes are all so amazing. I can see the Dune influence!

I want to go back to the French Quarter RIGHT NOW. We loved it there soooo much. It was the best part of our honeymoon. I'm glad that you and SM are having a ball. Precious moments.

You are just rockin' the travel wardrobe. SP too And I see y'all got on the trolley. What is it about a trolley ride? So much fun! I'm trying to think... there is somewhere me and my bestie took the trolley to for sandwiches. SP might like them. Fresher, crisper, not so rich and hard to digest... It was a soda shop sort of place...

Oh I had a long reply but it erased. I'm typing from my dang phone. Should have brought my iPad oh well.

I n have read everyone's comments,and again thank you b I love pictures seeing others and my own. I enjoy Everday scenes as well as the people. Don't worry I as in advance before I take pictures of people.

My goal is to communicate more be bold and move outside of my comfort zone. I hope to meet you all IRL someday.

@ RACHYLOU I've come to the realization that SM will not be eating any local food. She comes from a background of scarcity and is on a limited budget. This was a splurge for her even though I'm taking care of everything.

I am thankful of the time to wander on my own. I've been Abel to taste the local fare.

T h e trolley ride was so nice we rode them all day for $3. It was the perfect thing to do ride from one end to the other never having to get off or to walk.
SM has trouble walking. They have 3 different lines so you can't get lost.

Perfect, perfect, perfect! So happy you're living it up and enjoying your trip. And isn't the atmosphere and food and people and music to die for in NOLA? Such an amazing place.
