I've been crazy busy and am just now catching up with posts for September's pre-SSIF activities! I wanted to show you one of my fave outfits from my quick trip to Frankfurt at the beginning of the month. Wore my VC ruched navy midi to my meeting with blouse, jacket and pumps (no pic, as was business) but came back to my hotel room to change for walkabout and lunch and threw on my AllSaints cowl neck multipurpose sweater that I lemming'd from Sharan (Firecracker) but in a different color. It's a great versatile piece since you can wear it four ways or unbuttoned as a shrug, and I was soooo comfy on top of it. Anyway, during SSIF, I noticed that it is now offered in a beautiful burgundy (see Finds), then, while browsing Ann Taylor online, I found that they had knocked it off in jersey at a much lower price point, so I thought I'd share with anyone who may be interested but unwilling to go out on a limb for what AllSaints is asking. There are also some different color choices on offer that are very appealing to me, like the dark teal...yum.
