WIW for the Weekend: Jewel Tones, B&W Prints

Hello, I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!

I've made an effort this weekend to get dressed for errands instead of just throwing on a t-shirt and hoodie. I think the experiment has been a success, so far. I'd love any suggestions for improvement.

My DH very kindly took these photos for me, and made it his mission to get our Westie (Tango) in all of them. Tango is looking pretty scruffy right now - tomorrow he will be back to his dapper self.

#1-2 - I'm also a little scruffy in these pics because they were taken after we stood in line at Best Buy for 3.5 hours for a game trade-in promo yesterday. Never again!

If so, how is the non-leather material? Overall fit? I noticed they have slip resistant soles and so am interested in them for work! Thanks.

Mine have leather uppers, as per theshoecompany description; confirmed that it's printed on the shoe. Size wise, I usually wear an 8-8.5 and bought these in a 7.5 after trying them on in store. They have a bit of arch support and are quite comfortable for all day wear (including winter walks w/Tango).

Very cute casual outfits! I especially like the subtle pattern mixing with the scarf and sneakers in the second one. If that sweater's a v-neck, I think I actually might have just gotten the same one.

You guys are so cute! What do you think of the quality of the Athleta jacket and ponte pants? Curious since I have only ordered "gear" type t-shirts and a few skorts from them.

Hey Aquamarine, the pants I have only worn a few times, but they are have held their shape well through washing and seem to be well made. I am extremely happy with the jacket. It saw a lot of wear last Spring when I bought it and has been my go-to piece for fall. It has been washed several times and come out good as new. On both pieces the stitching was straight and even with no loose threads, and the material feels high quality. I'd buy casual wear from the Athleta brand again.

Agree, those pants look amazing. I want a pair! The gingham shirt looks very smart too. People are really styling gingham well here!

And re: the game trade-in, DH almost went to do it yesterday but didn't when he heard there were 150 people in line at our downtown store.
