As I posted in Off Topic a while back, I have been dealing with elderly parent issues for the past couple of months. Over the past week or so my dad has been getting worse and ended up in the hospital with pneumonia and delirium, which as you can imagine has cut into my internet time to quite an extent! I hope you will forgive both my absence from the forum and this picture-heavy catch-up post!
I will say that with my life in pretty much complete chaos, it has been pretty great to have a closet full of great clothes that fit and look presentable. And note that on three separate occasions I resorted to jacket-over-dress -- a fast fallback formula that is fast and easy and a no-brainer when things are going crazy!
None of the clothes are new, but I have been enjoying the heck out of my new Ann Taylor cap-toe pumps and my Sole Society faux Rockstuds. I feel like they keep me from being in too much of a rut!
