Awwww, how nice of you to say those things!
Makrame, thanks, my hair looks a tad crazy these days but I'm going for a bed-hair look (aka my hair at its natural state)
Caro, Julie, Susie, Emma, Neel and NDMom, thank you so much!
JG, I used to be a casual shopper. I would just go and buy whatever I felt like buying on that day (it didn't help that my school was right next to Barcelona's city center, where all the major stores are). These days, however, I am on a tighter budget and trying to focus on what I really *need*, so I only get what I feel I lack. Say, one day I realize most of my socks are in bad condition, I go get five pairs, or if I feel like I don't have enough t-shirts that make me happy, I go and buy some, but I don't buy stuff I haven't previously thought about.
Ornella, I knooow but some of you pull off really cool looks every day and I feel like I am always repeating the same outfits and patterns. I do feel self-conscious when I see these fashion-bloggers pulling off the most incredible outfits with:
a) Model-like measurements
b) Hollywood star budgets (ok, maybe not that much, but def. not my budget) and wardrobe space
c) Cabs & Limousines to commute
I know it's a bit pathetic but they make me feel a bit jealous and like I will never be able to pull that off, no matter what.
Astrid, thanks, I am on a tight budget, as I guess most people our age are. Maybe you might want to check on the skinnies, they are from H&M, very inexpensive and quite comfy. They are higher in the rise and do not gap at the waist. They have them in several colors and even patterns (I have them in burgundy, dark green and grey).
