One of my summer formulas -
Skinny jeans/leggings
Tunic
Birks

Top - free people - I adore their tunics
Jeans - good american - i hate the fact that this brand is magic for me - no tailoring needed to fit - I could care less that they are by Khloe kardashian - I hate their cost.
Birks - a couple years old an Angie pic from 2 years ago.

You look terrific! I think you have to go with what works for your body type. I finally figured out that Gloria Vanderbilt pants at Kohls works for me. Who would have thought?

I agree with Clementine and JAileen about wearing what works....I have a really hard time finding jeans that fit and recently bought on sale a Chico's "Girlfriend" cropped jean that fits like a dream. I'll take it!

So here is the deal on the Good American jeans and I am an expert on jeans for a curvy body.
Almost every single pair of pants I buy needs to be tailored in the waist weather I'm at my heaviest like right now or lightest as years ago when I was 40 pounds less.
I have tried on every single pair of jeans out there.
Here is what the Good American jeans did for me that until now no jean as done for me
The back rise was high enough - When I sit they stay put
There was no gapping in the the back
They fit my hips perfectly and I don't feel constricted
They has passed the ultimate test - I wore them on a travel day and they were so comfy - 12+ hours of planes, airports and the such.

If I wanted to I could tuck in a shirt and would feel amazing. Matter a fact they feel so good that I have been thinking about getting a body suit to go with them.

FrannieB, thank you so much for that information! I can name every pair of jeans I've worn in my life, and tell you exactly when they stopped making it and I stopped wearing jeans for a few years until I found another. Right now it's been three or four years. I just couldn't face the search again.

Never heard of Good American, but I'll go find some now.
