WIW for my master's thesis defence

Hello everyone, hope you are all well! I've been back to Germany since last Thursday and back in Berlin since Monday. I had to defend my master's thesis this morning and right now I feel so happy to finally be done with it!

I bought this outfit on Friday, the top yesterday. Not a lot of time to look for something but I think the result is definitely great (and for little money). Pants and blazer are H&M, the top is Mango.

I think I will do an Off Topic post next week on New Zealand and Australia, I haven't had time to look through the pictures yet...

I'm looking forward to spending more time on the forum again.

Thanks Tanya. And yes, super happy. And I'm satisfied with the result as well, I managed a grade in the range I had set for myself as a personal goal.

I was really surprised to have success with H&M, I had thought they would cut way too straight for me.

Some great news here! I can remember how relieved I was to be finally done with it, myself, too, huh!!:-). Your outfit is seriously professional but softer(as suit is grey and not black), with an edge (in that the blouse is black, not white or pastel) and a pinch of a confident feminine playfulness (in that bigger contrast and scale-not pale or ditsy- floral print of the blouse, rather than using uni or (pin)stripes). Congratulations!:-)

An aside... a very close friend of mine has a PhD in Library Science. She's actually the associate dean at the main Library Science school here in Canada. She does some very interesting work - things you'd never think of...
