Inge - I did have a great time. i just got to watch the sprints. DD10 came last but in the first division, DD7 came first in the second division and DD5 would have won (though they don't count it since she's young) except she lost her concentration and cut accross the lanes to get to me at the end! So she came second. I was wearing blue and red because it is their faction colours.
Lyn D - we are having an unusually wet September here Lyn. It is warning a little. I think it is 12-20 today as opposed to say 8-16 a few months ago. And a lot lighter. I am still wearing a coat when outside but I do run cold.
Lyn 67 -I think the blazer plus a - line skirt plus bow combo would be what gives off the Olympic vibe
Beth Ann and Lisa - I have one striped top but it's on its last leg. I did used to wear the skirt casually in the tired old black turtleneck sweater combination. But your encouragement has made me not through the skirt out. I think I am a bit big for it now, but perhaps the waistline will fit again some day. (I made it myself, so could tailor the waistband to my exact measurements, though bought ones are often a bit loose. But the downside is when i put on weight and it doesn't fit anymore)
