Happy Birthday to our fearless leader, Angie. She is a wonderful muse and cheerleader and her daily column brightens my day. My top and topper are old (five years) and my pants and shoes new. I've been wearing "the heck out of everything in my closet" this year and this has become a favorite.
UPDATE: Thanks for all the kind words dear friends. Suntiger and a few others asked about my necklace so I thought I'd share the info here. I bought it in a small shop in Tucson, AZ, about five years ago. The owner told me that it was brought in for consignment by the artist's 90+ year old mother. It was in her private collection. He gave me a photo of the artist and a brief synopsis of her life which I've added to the photos below. It's a fun piece that works well with certain outfits and I plan to keep it for a long time.
