WIW for a Toronto weekend...last tri!

The Toronto Island Triathlon was the 4th and last event of my tri season. I had a personal best on a beautiful course, on a beautiful day. DS scored second place in his age group.

It was summer weather with high temps, and higher humidity.

#1+2 For 8 hours of travel
#3. For a day of shopping
#4. For after the race, and more shopping
#5. For the 8 hour drive home

Oooh! Love #4 the best - lace and leather in a classy casual way. You look fresh in blue and white as well. Glad you had nice weather - and that the storms held off. Congrats to you and to DS on your accomplishments!

Great race! PR is a nice way to finish out I ADORE the pattern mixing and hemlines of the shirt and jacket in #5. Just AMAZING. Your bag takes the black lace outfit in 4 to the next level. Fantastic weekend!

Congrats to both of you! I hope this doesn't mean you will stop posting WIW's till next season. You do super casual like nobody's business! May I ask what brand the brown tennie runners are, #3?

Congrats on achieving a personal best time! Your outfits and your new specs all look great. I was thinking how much I love 3, probably because of the high contrast. Then I saw 4 and love that just as much! And the yellow in 5 is such a flattering color on you.

Are you kidding me? You look fan-freakin'-tastic in all of these! And what's that? You just did a triathlon and then slipped on a super-fashionable lace blouse over top your gear et voila! ready for shopping! Pardon me, but I need to go lie down. Your current, sporty style is blowing me away. Srsly!

Nah, Claire! That's a tank top and cotton shorts...and I did manage a shower, too, before I went shopping. I will admit, it was hard to get going after doing anything seated, though!

I am noticing the shorts are getting a little snug in the thighs. I did add weight training for leg power back in November. Evil-personal-trainer Kevin has me doing squats, walking lunges, lunges on Bosu balls, and lots, and lots of core. It has changed up the physique a little bit. It's all good, but the shorts and skinnies might need to be re- thought!

My race kit remains the same. (See below)
