I feel rejuvenated after a little break to a neighboring country. It was cold and there were light showers all throughout our 2 day stay. It was a dampener in terms of no pool time or beach time, but the change of scenery helped!

I have re-created a few outfits in this and some are from the pics that DS took of me during the stay. So not that perfect, but posting them anyway! Too lazy to recreate everything again

1) I wore this outfit for the short flight journey to our destination. The houndstooth print pants are more like leggings and were super comfy. I did feel nice in this outfit but the pic doesn't seem to potray what I felt! May be the top should have had a higher contrast. Does the scarf work? This is my first time (!!) wearing a scarf! I run from them because of my short neck. But it did keep me nice and warm!

2) I wore this for the breakfast-brunch and a simple day of hanging around inside the resort.

3/4) This one was for the evening dinner. I wore a simple black tee with the skirt, the hose and jacket kept me warm. Pic 4 shows the necklace I wore with the outfit. Is that too much?

5) This was for the breakfast-brunch on the second day. The scarf is a lovely crochet one with tassels. Again I felt good in this, but the pic says otherwise! A higher contrast scarf would have been better I guess I did wear a red lipstick with this outfit.

6) This was for the journey back home. Just changed the scarf from outfit 5 to the jacket. I could have used the full sleeved jacket. It was a bit cold. But I like the free movement of arms while handling luggage and two kids at the airport.

So how did I fare? Which outfit is a definite fail and I shouldn't wear it again? All suggestions are welcome! Next time I want to add some variety in terms of color when I travel (Why didn't I think of white?!). Oh well! Hindsight! I am such a loser when it comes to a travel capsule! Do I look like I am trying too hard /fashion victim/ wannabe in any of these pics? LOL! Thanks for stopping by!
