This weekend my husband and I decided to drive across the bay bridge to enjoy a perfect weather day in the little tourist town of St Michael’s. It was an ideal getaway for a few hours — walking around town window shopping and admiring the gardens, a drink outside a beautiful inn overlooking the water, and dinner at a great Mediterranean restaurant. We were treated to a lovely sunset just as we crossed the bridge coming back home.

I wore a new top that I chanced upon at a fancy craft show in DC recently. I was enamored with this top, but it was one of the first booths we visited, so I left it behind to see if it stuck with me as we meandered the festival. Well, it did, to the point where I knew I might be disappointed if I returned and found it had sold. Turns out that out of the three tops in similar styles the designer had made, the other two were gone and my favorite was still there! So I bought it and had been waiting for the weather to wear it.
