This is my first spring living in Kansas and this weather is certainly interesting.  I've always lived in areas where the, "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute," line could apply, but I think that saying may have originated here.  It was in the upper 70s all week, today we'll be lucky to hit 50F, and Tuesday it's supposed to hit 90!  What?

I thoroughly enjoyed playing with the ROG earlier this week, but most of the looks it spit out required cooler weather, so today I finally get the chance to play with one of the concepts.

I must not have grabbed all of the finds from the ROG outfit, so only a few are below:

White boyfriend chinos
Short black blazer
Heart printed tee/sweater
Black flats (not pictured, the ROG pair were a little more strappy)
Black tote (not pictured)

I chose this outfit to duplicate because I actually have most of these items in my own closet!

The Topper: Old and well loved blazer.  Mine is a longer length than the one ROG suggested (see below), but I think longer is better for me.

The Top: My sweater is lighter, but I think it's okay because this is already a high contrast white/black look and I have a nice column of white going on.  I think the most important visual elements of the ROG are the slightly sporty vibe and the bold, graphic hearts.  Hearts are great, but if you want to know what love really looks like, you need a dachshund.  So I feel this is a fair swap.

The Bottoms: White BR boyfriend chinos.  Bought these last year and to me they look tight now.  They usually loosen up, so it might be ok.

The Shoes: In love with these Cole Haan flats.  So comfy, can walk forever.

The Bag: My all-purpose tote for lugging my computer around.

Extra Accessory: Heinrich des Löwen.  Obviously.

Suggestions always welcome! Specifically, what do you think about the cropped bottom paired with 3/4 sleeves?
