Happy new year to all!

So, I bought a second pair of flares in the end of year sales. These are made by Frame Denim and called "Le High Flare Jeans". The people at Frame Denim must be Francophiles because all of their jeans seem to have "Le" in the title. I think Bernard62 would approve

I got these knocked down from 330AUD to 100AUD at David Jones (about 70 USD). They are still 209USD on Shopbop, so yay me! Despite the high waist, I am not sure if I will be wearing cropped tops with them, but it does make it easier to wear a belt at the waist as I am doing here. I don't like wearing a waist belt over mid rise jeans. Feels odd.

The jacket is a bit of a cheat. It was a coolish day and I really meant to wear it but as soon as I got outside I realised it was too humid for a jacket. Really, the state of my hair should have told me that already. So I ditched it pretty fast.

Any thoughts about other ways to wear the jacket? I have tried it open (with the belt tied at the back) over a pencil skirt and sleeveless top. I thought that worked. I think I will try layering a tee under as it gets cooler. It is too lightweight for true winter wear.
