Carole- thanks! I do love the BR sweater in 4/5. It is lightweight and so soft! The stripes pack a lot of punch.
Doulahil-thanks!
Beth Ann-Thanks for the hair and outfit props!
Alicat--Thanks; it WAS a great week! I don't know if I can keep it up all semester!
Jonesy-- I'm actually going to be teaching Mon, Tues, AND Thurs most weeks this semester; the most I've ever done. Two of my three classes are easier seminars though.
sarah--you've been busy; haven't heard from you in awhile. Hope your year is going well. When do you leave for the Netherlands?
Ceit. Shannon--thanks!
Lyn- I really prefer dark wash jeans.
Makrame--thanks, perhaps that is a forumla of mine soft blouse + structured jacket. And teaching 3 days a week is a lot, isn't it!
Zap--I post in spurts, so this may the first time we've "met"!
Tina.b--thanks!
Shevia--we do share a similar style.
Amy= thanks!
Suz--we are sweater and boot twins! Plus I have the python Petty booties on order so perhaps we shall share more. The jacket is an Angie NAS pick from 2011. It was made by Trouve, and called the "shrunken jacket". It's a soft gray plaid, and really lovely as you'd expect from an Angie pick. Sveta just wore hers last week or so; she has it in camel. It's a great jacket!
CocoLion(Denise) Thanks!
Catherine--Looking forward to seeing your copies.
JulieJohn--you are too sweet! Welcome to the tomboy club. It's for those of us who don't understand the question others post "is this too masculine"? And who want to be able to climb trees, jump fences, and run in our everyday clothes (even if we don't......we COULD!) The "stone" in the necklace is actually plastic! It's very lightweight.
Angie--thanks! You know I could be an Urban Prince, (except for the hair) now that you mention it---I relate more to polished looks and not so much to RATE or distressing. Interesting that a prince can be casual. AND I misremembered your fall formula:
Jeans + blouse + blazer + flats. No scarf in there! I can see why you don't wear scarves with your attraction to minimal accessories...I really like your streamlined outfits!
