Still cold and grey though. Most of these outfits are built around a warm, cozy element (flannel shirts, handknits, knit blazers) as that's all I want to wear in this weather.

casual weekend - long flannel shirt, black skinnies, and my old favorite granny combat boots.

blue and grey - the shell here is not actually grey (it's a small cream and black print) but the overall effect is of cobalt over a column of grey. I quite liked this.

outerwear shot over #2. The scarf is a handknit I finished recently, and I liked how it matched both the burgundy coat and the blue blazer.

blazer over bubble - This was a very warm and cozy outfit for a chilly, wet day. All of these items are quite old and still worn often.

an old favorite combo that I haven't worn yet this winter. (I had forgotten about these boots, they are warm and waterproof but don't have enough traction for snow/ice). As you can tell, the short over long over skinnies and boots is something of a uniform for me.

I randomly threw this together from my closet this morning and ended up liking the result more than I thought I would! I like layering vest-y things over long sleeved shirts as there is no issue with sleeve bunching. This cabled hoodie vest thing is handknit. I used my big kilt pin to close it, although I really wanted to use a different brooch (a big more or less circular thing) but couldn't find it this morning.
