In yesterday's K/R, or a Tale of Two Totes as I call it, Angie said she preferred the lighter tote. Several expressed a poison eye for light or white totes, so look away now if that describes you!
I am firmly in the "wear now" camp whenever possible. With white and winter white showing up more and more, I thought I would take a crack at styling my tote. So, this is my first attempt. I think it is okay, but I think that's the best that can be said. Definitely room for improvement. Of the looks, the first looked best to me. I think the second, with a light silk scarf, is okay, but needs more substance and I think the scarf is too tight around my neck. I think the third, with the tone on tone, needs a lighter color to tie in. Fourth looks just plain unfinished.
What are your impressions? Do you think that that pretty accurately summarizes it?
I'll try this with lighter jeans next, then with a lighter top. Inspired by Kirti's post, maybe my snow leopard cardi.... Any other ideas?
