Thank you ALL so very much for the wonderul feedback and compliments, you have made my day. I am so glad you like the trousers as much as I do.
Bijou, thank you for the suggestions, I think the trousers will work in Spring as well and to wear them with pastels is a great idea. And thank you for the tip about the lipstick primer, I am going to try that.
Jessicams and Sterling, I don’t really have any special method how to wear red lipstick I think. I usually use a tiny amount of lip balm before and let it absorb, so the lips are not greasy. Then I use lipstick either directly from the bullet or with a small brush. Than I correct the shape with a pencil and last a second layer of the lipstick. I blott the lips between layers with a tissue. My favourite texture is more creamy, not completely mat. The mat long lasting lipsticks are often quite drying. I don’t use a gloss on top of the lipstick for the same reason as you, Jessicams, the lipstick doesn’t sit as it should then. I reapply after meals and sometimes also in between, depending on the kind of lipstick I wear. Also want to recommend Lisa Eldridge’s online tutorials. I think it was Lisa P. who recommended Lisa Eldridge here on YLF some time ago and I got sort of hooked. Lisa Eldridge has really good tutorials for example about how to choose and apply red lipstick. You find them on lisaeldringe.com
