So, I have been taking outfit photos off and on since joining here, but have put off posting anything, thinking I'll find a better place to photograph...more light, better background, etc. Also taking outfit photos has made me realize that folding my t-shirts onto shelves makes them pretty wrinkled when I pull them out...which I didn't notice until looking at the photos later. I should probably shift to hanging everything but sweaters.

In going through my pictures from last year, I thought I'd finally share some of my favorites. Most are office wear (I work in a pretty casual office where jeans are fine), but I have one of my favorite weekend "uniforms" in there: jeans with knee high boots, a flowy tee and an open cardigan.

Everything is thrifted except the shoes. The Coldwater Creek soft red moto jacket still had original tags on when I bought it, and the little theft-deterrent device was annoyingly stuck through the sleeve so I couldn't try it on properly in the store. When I got it home I realized that the jacket must be a second, because the lining was sewn into the sleeve all twisted, so it was still impossible to get on. Sneaky! So, I had to tear out the seams and re-sew the lining. It now fits great (whew!), and it has been a real workhorse jacket all winter...I must have worn it at least once a week. So comfy!

I've had a good time lurking around the forum this past year, and I've learned a lot from reading. Time to step it up and start contributing

Feedback welcome, I'm here to learn and be inspired.

And if anyone has tips for folding t-shirts so they don't wrinkle so badly, I'm all ears!
