The swingy shape and graphic color blocking of this handknit sweater remind me of mod dresses, so I thought I'd use it as the basis for a 60's mod-inspired outfit. I also think of thigh high boots when I think of the 60's, so I paired it with some sleek black jeggings and my gold zipper OTK boots. My boots, being flat and just knee-covering (rather than the stereotypical 60's patent go-go boots that come up high on the thigh), are more modern but I think they evoke an idea of the 60s thigh high boots without getting too costumey.

My big Jackie O sunglasses had to come out for the photoshoot, but sadly it is cold and rainy today so they stayed at home.
