Thanks, Fabbers. FFBO really are the best. I’m an introverted dresser so even though I feel like my outfits are boring--they are fuss free and work in my environment. Oh, and about that recipe. I didn’t have quite enough pumpkin for the double recipe so I used apple sauce for the balance. These freeze amazingly well too--if you have any left to freeze that is.
@Jess: Thank you!
@taylor: Thanks. I love slouch or relaxed fits. I hate to feel uncomfortable. Also good to know about the weather where you are. We are starting to think about places to move to after we retire (if we move.) Sounds like southern Oregon is my kind of climate!
@Jenn: Lol! Welcome to California. It does seem like a seasonless state--especially in SoCal! Thank you for the outfit love. I think we share a similar style aesthetic--your style is more dramatic though (boho/avant garde!)
@nemosmom: Thank you. I hope you try the recipe when you have time. I made them with and without icing and they are equally good.
@Angie: Thank you. You are so kind. I’m really lucky that I enjoy my closet. Getting dressed sets the tone for the day so I always try to look pulled together. Somedays are better than others obviously! BTW, I love seeing your food posts on IG.
@kkards: You sound like me! I keep reminding myself that the world keeps on spinning even if something doesn’t get done. It may not feel that way in the moment but it’s true. Can’t go wrong with bootcuts! I think you need a pair in your life--lol!
@Runcarla: Thank you!
@lisap: Haha! Thank you. Flattered to be a gym inspo! Honestly, I think it’s a combination of age and activity. My body fat has left my limbs and migrated to my menopausal midsection where it seems to be quite happy unfortunately. About my job, what I was hired to do is construction project management and estimating. What I actually do (by default) is run the day to day operations of a construction and service company. I’m an excellent multi tasker and I enjoy a challenge but it can be like herding cats at times.
@Torontogirl: Thank you!
@Robin: Thanks! I hope you give it a try.
@Anonymous: Thank you. I am so happy with those Fryes in 1. I didn’t realize how versatile they would be. The ankle fit really makes such a difference. Thanks for sending Autumn vibes!
@Classically Casual: Thank you!
@Rachy: Thanks and Right? It’s crazy weather.
@Slimcat: Thank you. That Athleta dress in 6 is an old favorite. The ruching in the bottom half make it very forgiving.
@Katerina: Thank you. You are so gracious.
@suntiger: LOL! I guess it’s relative! Thank you.
@Cardiff girl: haha. yes, highly recommend the cookies. Thank you!
@Janet: Thank you. Seeing that Bernardo on you really sold it for me. I wonder if it’s because you have some other fab motos that you aren’t reaching for these. I have a couple but this is the only one that really fits well and seems to jib with my everyday style. It’s plain with some interesting details--definitely not dramatic.
@Barbara: Thanks for the sympathy. I actually have been enjoying the weather too!
@Bijou and Liesbeth: Thank you. Hope you give the cookies a try.
@The Cat: Thank you. I love sleeveless because they usually fit. My shoulders are so wide that sleeves are always problematic. Perhaps you could layer over them? Or under? I’m honestly not sure I could stand really cold weather--50-60 degrees F is about all I can stand!
