WIW: exposed feet and Friday casual (ETA uncuffed jeans pic)

It's feeling and smelling rather spring like now and I decided it is warm enough to go out unstockinged and unbooted. I hope I'm right and I don't suffer from frizzly feet today.

I like the silhouette of this outfit. Are the proportions right? Anything you would change?

ETA: a very late in the day pic, with bad hair and sans makeup but uncuffed jeans. Your thoughts?

I like this silhouette on you too Hil:). The only thing I might change, and this is purely a personal preference, is I would unroll the jeans and allow them to scrunch a little. I struggle a bit with the horizontal line of cuffs, finding them at times to create a shortening effect. But this is a minor thing. Have your feet been warm enough?

This Is my kind of silhouette. But I too prefer the ease of a little scrunch on narrower pants hem (as in, not likely to slip-slide underfoot)---especially when there is ease on top too. I feel like it unifies the outfit better to look all comfy rather than strict measures. Also, unless the garment is clearly aiming at oversized---like boyfriend jeans and blazers--any cuffing of sleeves and legs seems to work better at shorter than full length. Else it can suggest just poor fit rather than intention.

Congratulations on the turning season. We're feeling hopeful of a proper changeover up here too. We should all be more comfy in our clothes and shoes soon, in either hemisphere!

I see what you mean and I've duly unrolled the jeans and I will take a pic when I get home for comparison. Funny enough, the name for these jeans is Stevie Roll Ups, lol!

So far, my feet are holding up, unstocking'ed

i like this a lot. i think the cuffed jeans work well, and the proportions are great! glad that spring is on the way. summer is quickly slipping away here, and in the early morning you can feel fall just around the corner.

Terrific silhouette! I think I'd prefer unrolled, too, or rolled up a little further than you have them here -- a more deliberate shortening of the pants.

You fab hair and strong, shapely lips are great "accessories!"
