Hi Lovely Fabbers,

Hope you're all enjoying the holiday season!

Today, I want to take a moment to celebrate Everyday Fabulous style.

One of the best things I did in 2016 was to consciously shop for comfortable, well-fitting and easy-to-care-for everyday wear clothes. I stopped (maybe restricted is a better term!) shopping for going-out clothes and focused solely on pieces that I can wear for my everyday life without a care.

I work from home and live in a small apartment with two dogs. I live a sporty lifestyle too. So I made a list of things I wanted from my clothes. Like:

1) Stretchy and easy to move in,
2) Easy to throw into the washing machine and clean,
3) Should be able to do double duty for dog walks
4) Non-restrictive and comfortable to wear all day long, be it to step out for a quick run to the grocery store or to take an afternoon nap in (if I have free time) or to curl up on the sofa and watch some Netflix in my spare time.

Basically - easy loungewear pieces that looked a little better than regular loungewear.

Here are two such outfits I've worn this week.

#1-4: These are thick Zara ponte leggings in a charcoal grey, paired with a navy sweater I love. I added the silvery grey scarf, silver slip on sneakers and a silver sling bag for some quick errands. The sweater has a lovely knitted pattern and crotched detail at the bottom that keeps it from looking too ordinary. I've added close-ups for the sweater & scarf. The sweater is navy, though it looks a bit darker here.

#5-7: Another simple outfit, here I'm wearing heavy stretchy ponte bootcut pants that have an elasticized waist. It feels like I'm wearing yoga pants, but they look a bit dressier and feel luxe. The fabric drapes beautifully and I also have these pants in navy. Paired with a mauve sweater. The short length of this sweater makes it perfect for high waisted stretchy pants. This sweater has a lovely knit pattern too.

Thanks for looking. I'd love to hear your thoughts/comments/inputs.

Happy Winter Solstice, everyone!
