Thanks The Cat! You may remember this dress as Angie's "best dress at NAS" last July. She was dead right, of course!
Thanks Brooklyn, Angie, Sal!
Thanks Shevia, I only zipped up the jacket to take this pic, and when we were out on a patio at the wedding, where it was pretty chilly. It was one of those events where we went back and forth between inside and outside. Inside I unzipped it and eventually took it off for a while.
Thanks Katerina! I have very little occasion to wear outfits like this, and wish I could bring the same pizazz to my casual everyday wear. Still a work in progress...
Thanks so much Runcarla...I didn't consciously change the part, but some days it's more tot he side than others, somewhat randomly.
Adriana, I like the idea of wearing this dress more, but it honestly would look very out of place in my everyday life, even casualized with sneakers and a denim jacket. I'm retired and live in a world where the norm other than office wear is very casual and usually a bit sporty. If you haven't ever visited New England you might find it surprising just how casually people dress. But...never say never!
Thanks Jessikams! It's not summer yet here, it's spring and much colder than normal. The avg high temps this time of year are supposed to be in the mid-60's (F) but most days it has not gone above 50 plus it's been overly grey and rainy.
Thanks Lyn67, yes the shorter length is perfect. When I wore this last Nov at the original length it actually was in danger of catching on my shoes getting in and out of a car, so much better shorter.
Thanks Jane!
